OUR VISION!

Quetta Chamber is an autonomous organization of Businesses and individuals aimed at promoting commerce and Industry in Balochistan. There are several associations of Imports-Exports, Mines & Mineral, Agriculture. Livestock, re-rollable Steel Mills, Flour Mills, Sea Foods and others are part of Quetta Chamber. Quetta Chamber rendered Memberships to the Business community of District Quetta especially and others as well without any discrimination of presiding or opposing Business groups.

  • Q.C.C.I

    The Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Quetta - Balochistan was established in the year 1972. There were 42 pioneer members who initially took part in the process. The business community of the province after going through a lot of hardship and difficulties for resolving their business disputes and settle their problems with various Government, Semi government and Private Institutions in the country and out side the country felt the need of a body to look after all these matters representing the business community. The chamber was registered with Director Trade Organization, Govr of Pakistan Islamabad under section 3 of the Trade Organization Ordinance, 1961 on 12th March 1973 With,of a Memorandum and Article of Association published and registered. The first election of the Chamber was convened and the first elected President was Mirza Muhammad Ibrahim Baloch. During this period efforts were made to construct a separate building for the Chamber. Former President of Pakistan General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, was approached and requested for allotment of a piece of land for the Chamber building, which he generously accepted and a piece of land on main Zarghoon Road, Quetta, was allotted for Chamber building During the construction of building the then President Mr. Kamal-ud-Din Ahmed and Senior Vice President Mr. Tahir Ahmad Khalifa approached the Government of Balochistan for some financial assistance. The then Governor Balochistan General Muhammad Musa and Secretary Finance Mr. Sr. R. Poonegar, accepting their request, granted a sum of rupees One Million for the construction of the Chamber building. The building was constructed and completed in the year 1989-90. The Chamber shifted in the new building and started its work in the year 1990.


    MEMORANDUM

    Memorandum and Article of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Quetta Balochistan. Incorporated under the Provisions of S.42 of the Companies Act 2017, the jurisdiction of the Chamber extends to the whole province.
